● STANDARD FEATURES OF THROUGH CONDUIT SLAB GATE VALVES
▲ Designed to API 6D specification. Valves are applicable for oil and gas transportation pipeline, oil field, airport, refinery and chemical industry.
▲ Full thru-conduit port is suitable for pigging and wiping. Seats and gate surface can be self cleaned.
▲ Floating Seat: The seat ring is installed with springs to insure constant contact with the gate insuring a perfect seal.
▲ Bi-directional Seal: The valve can provide reliable seal in either direction of downstream and upstream.
▲ Double block and bleed (DBB) Valve with two seating surfaces which in the closed position, blocks flow from both valve ends when the cavity between the seating surfaces is vented through a bleed (drain plug) connection provided on the body cavity.
▲ Self relieving seat design for protection against over pressure in the body cavity.
▲ Body drain relief the trapped fluid in valve cavity.
▲ Stem Seals: The stem is sealed with primary and secondary ring energized lip seal made from abrasion resistant material in a non rolling configuration with provisions for emergency grease injection between them. When the valve is in the closed position and the body pressure is vented to atmosphere, the secondary lip seal can be replaced.
▲ Special stem packing design protects against dust and easy for tighten packing.
▲ Stem back seating design to make stem packing is repairable under full line pressure.
▲ Emergency sealant injection for both seats and stem packing.
▲ Graphite for fire safe sealing for body, bonnet connection.
▲ Equipped bearings when equipped handwheel as operating manner. More convenient and lower thrust for opening and closing.
▲ Internal trim parts (gate, seat rings, and stem) are usually Electroless Nickel Plated (ENP). The chemical process provides corrosion resistance and low wear to the parts during operation. Depending on the type of the fluid, a variety of corrosion resistant and hard overlays can be applied in the critical sealing areas.
▲ The valves are equipped with handing devices such as lifting lugs and eyebolts to make maintenance, replace, transporting and installation more convenient.
▲ A visible gate-position indicator rod and a stem protector are provided as a standard feature on handwheel, gearbox and motor operated valves. It’s easy to know the gate position at any time.
▲ Stellite alloy can be deposited on sealing surface of seat tings and slab gate to be applicable for special working applications.
